Suggested Hiring Process

Step 1:

REVIEW RESUME for obvious reasons to disqualify. Those you don’t qualify advance to Step 2.

Step 2:

PHONE SCREEN the candidate by way of a 5-10 minute call using scripted questions such as:

      • Why do you think you might be a fit in …?
      • Tell me what makes you successful?
      • How do you stay organized?
      • How much do you want to make?
      • What are your expectations / requirements for salary?

Score the call on a scale from 1-10. The interviewer isn’t searching for a feeling, only to objectively capture information from the questions. Anyone scoring an 8 or above advance to Step 3. IMPORTANT: Qualify them for income requirements (without going into detail on the compensation structure). You don’t want to send an assessment link to anyone doesn’t preliminarily qualify.

Step 3:

EMAIL SCREEN with 5 basic questions, similar to those used during the phone interview. Request they complete it within 24 hours. Write down the day and time you should have it back and communicate this clearly. All who complete the email questions to your specifications, within the specified timeframe, advance to Step 4.

Step 4:

TALENT SURVEY link is emailed to the candidate. Once the Talent Assessment is received, RedRock Leadership will run a Gap Assessment against your Custom Job Benchmark. IMPORTANT: There is a charge associated with this.

Step 5:

REVIEW GAP REPORT AND CONDUCT INTERVIEW using the interview questions found in your Custom Job Benchmark.

Step 6:

COMPLETE HR SCREEN such as background check, aptitude test, etc. as required by your HR Department.
